I can only find the paint kits- where is the base(meljet)?

Personally I thinks the POSKY one is miles better.

Well if you want a challange and have some money to spend you can wait for PMDG 747-400 to come out. Now that plane is going to be Awesome! But I suggest you fly around in the Mel Jet or Posky 744 first and see if you can handle those planes first.
