I finally downloaded IrfanView (thanks Bully) and think it's now time to post a few again.

I mainly fly around for fun, but right now I have been playing with some new toys. They had Carrier Operations and Fighter Pilot at the local shop, I couldn't resist... OK, but first off, I took a short flight from Evenes to Alta last night (the same flight I requested a few days ago) however I used the default LearJet

Taking off

Turning towards my first VOR

Approach

Touchdown

Ok and here are some of the new stuff, can't land them yet! nor take-off from the carrier, actually fell into the water!!!!

F-16

lastly F-15 taking off from William AFB

That's it for now.....

Chris,
Thank you, very kind of you. I spent a lot of time listening to all the advice you all gave regarding resizing, sharpening and saving. I also have to crop because my screen is a widescreen... it takes time

I know, I have been waiting for you to post, I might have to wait until tomorrow to see them... got to be at work, early and bright

You must make a static take off (100% throttle, with parking breaks, release parking breaks once you reach WEEPER 3) this will give you the enough time to take of.

Played a little with E2-C Hawkeye on USS George Washington CVN73, was able to catapult off and go for a short spin, on my return toward an attempted landing I came in too high and too fast...

I love military stuff, too! Particularly the good ol' C-130E, such as I worked on whilst stationed at Pope AFB in North Carolina.
I second Bernd's words: Keep 'em coming!!

Ohhhh yes!!! What a blast that was...I was with VAW123 "Screetops" as a liason officer for the "ComptuEx" in 99...I flew to Puerto Rico...got flown to St. Maarten on a C-12 and from the harbour took the boat to the Kennedy!!!

What a sight...we set sail to St.Croix and participated in the excercise...
While on board I "mounted" every a/c there...and got a flight in the E-2 and HH-60...or was it a SH-60 ???
The return trip was with the COD back to PR.

Thanks guys, very glad you liked it!!  Smile

I read posts in the site-related, and I guess we need to take a break from this.

I still think the best idea is to have a topic of the month (like undercarriage, or night flighth, or scenery, or approaches and so on, and we only get to post ONE shot each in the same thread, and it will all be different views on the same thing. After all we all have very different approaches to screenies, it would be great fun to see, and to create.

-keep dreaming!

PapaN I think we are the only ones who think that's a good idea.

I was out on a flight (a real one, not FS) yesterday and fell in love with BAe 146, so I downloaded one a 200 QT, and I just call her my cutie  Wink

Since I am in a romantic mood these days I decided for a romantic flight. Seems like the Norwegian airforces C-130 have too many cracks in them, they came to me and asked for a haul of some missil heads from Tromso to Andoya Big grin

Leaving Tromso behind

Tromso area

Turning my first vor

Such a beautiful evening! perfect flight, my co-pilot was handsome...

Visual approach, no ILS, 5 seconds after this shot I stalled... that's what you get for flirting while flying  Wink

As you know we see a lot of great shots in these screenshot threads, but I have to say that these 5 little cuties have to be the best I have seen!

Each one of them captures the moment perfectly, without doubt.

I tell thee... if there was a screenshot competition running at the moment, they would undoubtedly win by a million miles!

Fantastic stuff.

First time ever on LHR, it was so amazing I forgot to take screenies...  cloudnine  thanks to Chris for airport scenery

Hi there , thank you!
I use Abacus Carrier Operations, it has 19 carriers in but you have to search for them under add-on scenery, otherwise it is George Washington in 4 places. My package says it has Waikato, but haven't tried it yet.

lightning everywhere

it was rather windy and it quickly cleared up

Dreamer,

The shots of the An225 are superb! Would you mind sharing the filename and where you got it from? Did it have a panel? I've always wanted to fly that plane on FS.

Keep up your shots, I always love to take a look at them!

Sure, I got her off avsim an225.zip it doesn't include a panel, but uses default 747, however they recommend getting a panel for the antonov 124, called antonov-124.zip also avsim. I haven't tried that, yet.... let me know and post a panel shot!!! Big grin

LOL dreamer you should listen to your TCAS advise Big grin maybe they didn't say anything but I think they should have!
This afternoon I made a flight in a CRJ700 from denver to washington and I was just sitting around watchin' birds and stuff and suddenly mr TCAS was there
I get warnings lots and lots of times so I thought pffft whatever stupid TCAS but the f*cker kept on screaming climb climb, climb now, climb climb and so on you know  Smile so I turned my head back to my screen and just at that very moment there was that plane just in front of me JUST A FEW METERS FROM MY ROOF!!! He was gone within that second! hey I swear ya, that kinda stuff makes FS less boring! I never had that before but it was really thrilling what an experience
I think I'll never ignore my tcas again Big grin
anyway

hey I like y'r screens, very special sights, whole difference with others!
keep it up
and watch your head!
