There is a hobby shop close to the intersection of Holborn and Kingsway that had some models though I can't say for sure they had Herpa models. If you take the Tube to the Holborn station look across Kingsway from the exit and you will see a Sainsbury's store. Walk across the street and keep that store on your left and the shop will be a block or two down the street on your left.

That hobby shop, near the Holborn/Kingsway, is called Modelzone (MZ). It does not sell Herpa models, but it does have a small selection of diecast and snap-fit airliner models at one end of the store. The diecast models are GeminiJets 1:400 and 1:250, and there are SkyMarks 1:200 snap-fit models. But no Herpas, sorry!
(I'm a regular at that shop, as I live within walking distance of it!)

http://www.aircraftcollectorforum.com/ is a great new forum for model aircraft and the guy running it is one of the best mail order retailers in the UK.
Would be good to see you join and share your collection. Are there many Herpa collectors on here?

You can also try Aviation Retail Direct - www.aviationretaildirect.co.uk is the website. They have 2 shops, a small one in the Heathrow Academy building on the northern perimeter of the airport (close to the viewing deck) and a larger store in Hillingdon, a few miles (km) north of the airport. The nearest Tube station to the Hillingdon store is Hillingdon station, served by Metropolitan and Piccadilly line services towards Uxbridge. They usually stock some Herpa.
Collectors Aircraft Models (the shop in the Sheraton Skyline) shut down in 2011.

I tried their mail order once - their website gave the impression the item was in stock but in fact it wasn't and they had to order it from their supplier. I thought this was very misleading - and the delay to delivery of the item unacceptable - so I haven't used them since. I suppose it would be different if you were actually visiting their shop.
