I was just searching the photo database when i came accross a picture of an ex Norwegian Air Shuttle Fokker 50 along with some 707 engines and an unidentifiable aircraft behind. I thought I knew Alton quite well, never knew about aircraft part storage though, is this place easily accessible? Also, out of interest, how do you get to the Departure Lounge Cafe?

cheers
Matt

I believe it's Air Salvage International (http://www.airsalvage.co.uk).

They part out aircraft on a farm north of Alton, postcode is GU34 4BH. Looking on Windows Local Live there seems to be an aircraft fuselage in the yard at the back.

From what I've heard they can be a bit funny about letting people in for photos etc, but I could be wrong this was a few years ago.

Cheers
Noel
