If one was to looking to trying to do their own repaints what would you suggest, I'd like to do a re-paint of the default 738 in WS colours.

I think I might already at that step, with being a photographer etc. I've also taken a few shots at editing pictures and such to make them look like pictures on http://www.cardatabase.net/modifiedairlinerphotos/

photoshop is the only tool i use, you also need dxtbmp, but that's for conversion, apart from that ACM or FSRepaint could be useful, especially for detailed paints where you could need to check the alignment of each part
