Huge Gap In The FS9/X AI World

Please for the love of God, someone make an AI model of a 757 with winglets!

AIA is obviously the best candidate, and they certainly haven't died yet with the releases of the updated 737 classics. There are a LOT of wingletted 757s flying around right now, and that type is just about the only aircraft I can't get a decent AI model of...

Anyway, I'm done pleading. I hope this has brought about the winds of change and someone is inspired to do the FS world a favor and create a fantastic new AI 757. Big grin

-Alex

Err, wrongo. If it's made by Craig, it's gone. His hard drive got wiped out. Everything gone. So the source files for the 757 are bye-bye.

Indeed, thats the reality...

Maybe CDAI will make one? He's done the 767-200 and there was a thread on his forum concerning the cargo version of the 757...

That I did not know! Wow... So I guess it would have to be totally from scratch now, wouldn't it?

Not sure what u meant by that, but CDAI is Charles Dayhuff and he has nothing to do with AI-Aardvark.

I'd love to see WOAI do a US / HP package. I deleted the PAI package,it looked terrible compared to the latest from WOAI.Also,a EG & G 'Janet' package would be nice. Can't be that hard, simple paint scheme and schedule.

I think the us/hp package is a mess with all the different repaints, the schedule, the missing repaints...

Along with a new AC package,an American Eagle (which I know I had) and USAirways would be great. I still cannot figure out how to add AI manually....

Agreed that WOAI desperately needs to put out a US/HP AI package, as well as one for AS/QX.

Well it appears your prayers have been answered. Just been released with numerous liveries available for download on avsim. Should be noted though it's not a new model it's just the existing Aardvark 757 with added winglets but will make such a difference in my FS world. Here's the link -

No problems at all. Big grin I was just as happy as you when I saw them released and I too have a busy night converting all the various airlines with the 75W to the model. Will post some screenshots when I get them sorted.

Already seeing positive results! Added the appropriate FI, CO, AA, NW, and US aircraft... I need updated DL flightplans before I convert them...

I spent most of Saturday downloading WOAI (at only 3 downloads at a time from Avsim!!). I then went to Project AI. I cannot download any of the 'achived' packages. Which means no AC, Champion or American Eagle. I don't know why they even have the 'Archive' if you can't d/l anything from it. A new Air Canada would be great.

Did you max out your 'airline' traffic to 100% and delete 'general aviation' ?

Well I did max out Airline traffic but I never deleted GA traffic, you mean in the FS tool bar right not in the folders.
I know its not working because when ever you do add traffic to FS before you start FS again it has to re-configure scenery files or something like that but when I add the WOAI traffic it never does that, so really I dont know what I am doing wrong, I am guessing it is just something wrong with my computer.

Does anyone know why,on World of AI,some packages don't have anything in them? I tried downloading Omni and Miami Air,but there was no file to download?
Also, does anyone know why you cannot download 'archived' packages on project ai? I'd really like to have Champion Air,again.
