I know Wilco/Feel Here http://www.wilcopub.com/ has has a CRJ and ERJ, I dont know much about them though. The only regional plane I have is PSS Dash-8-300/QX it is a great add on. Lots of fun to fly the Dash-8 and the FMC is pretty good but nothing like a PMDG or level D. As for freeware I dont know of any great regional add ons with good panels with FMCs.

Although it doesn't have a functional FMC, Project Fokker is one of my absolute favourtie regional add-ons. Great models of the F70 and F100, great sounds and great panel. You can get it free at avsim.

How about the new Digital Aviation Fokker 70/100 available at Flight1, and also the Flight1 ATR, also available at http://www.flight1.com ?

The two best ones available right now are the Digital Aviation Fokker 100 and Flight 1/Dreamfleet ATR72, both available at www.flight1.com

These are both far and away the best packages available right now. There are alternatives available but IMHO aren't as good as the above:

Majestic Software Dash 8 www.simmarket.com

Aerosoft BAe 146 www.aerosoft.com

Flight Factory Saab 340 (no longer available I believe...)

You mentioned the Wilco/Feelthere ERJ & CRJ so you are already aware of them. I would steer clear of the CRJ as it is really very old now. The ERJ is pretty good, definitely the best ERJ out there at the moment. Feelthere are also supposed to be working on an E-Jet package, no word on when that will be released. Eaglesoft were also supposed to be doing a Dornier 328 but it appears to have been forgotten about for a long time now  Sad

As far as freeware goes there's plenty of stuff available, but you will struggle to find good panels with detailed systems. There are a few good ones out there though, such as Project Fokker, and check out www.simviation.com/hjg/ for a very nice BAe 146 and Avro RJ complete with panels  Smile

If you are into the classic stuff as well you might want to check out www.dmflightsim.co.uk for some freeware classic British jets, including the BAC 1-11 and HS Trident, both of which could be described as regional jets  Smile

I agree. In particular the Digital Aviation Fokker 70/100 package is outstanding and cannot praise it highly enough. Especially if you want a fully functioning FMC.

Their CRJ may be old, but its still the best CRJ sim out there, by far. I still probably fly it more than anything.

Hey!!
Anyone in here knows if the Digital Aviation CRJ 700/900 still coming out? I know that the models are finish, but that's since December 2010 IIRC anyone in here has any news about the project?
Greetings

The ERJ's are excellent. Both the 135,145,145XR package and the ERJ 170/175/190/195. Great add-ons, I highly recommend them.

IMHO, the best regional jets out there are "Embraer E-Jets v.2 Embraer 175 and 195" by FeelThere/Wilco. Good stuff.

This package contains approx. 75 add-on liveries for the E-jets series (including UAX) which is compatible with FS9 and FSX....
