Hi All
Does anyone know the actual correct file names for the EvolveAI ERJ145 and ERJ145XR base models??? The repaints on avsim.com all say evai145.zip and evai145w.zip respectively but searching for these doesn't find anything...

I think they've been removed, as Charles Dayhuff (who originally did the models) had quite a bit of a fallout with EvolveAI - or more specifically Brian, the leader of EvolveAI. As a result, Charles set up AI Malcontent, fixed the models up (added XML coding) and had the EvolveAI models removed while he uploaded his models under the AIM banner. The same thing happened with the A32x models, when Craig Ritchie had those removed from AVSIM (I think) and uploaded the models under his own DJC banner. And while Craig has at least had the courtesy of keeping a somewhat civil tone, sadly the same thing can't really be said about Charles..
The new models are aim_erj145_basepackage.zip & aim_erj145xr.zip - and EvolveAI repaints will work for those models as long as you do a quick renaming of files.

For the E145 the files should be renamed to:
AI_Malcontent_Embraer_ERJ145,bmp
AI_Malcontent_Embraer_ERJ145_l.bmp
For the E145XR the files should be renamed to:
AI_MALCONTENT_EMBRAER_ERJ145XR
AI_MALCONTENT_EMBRAER_ERJ145XR_L
then in the aircraft.cfg file, make sure that...
sim= is the .air file in the AIM model
model= is the correct model being used in the AIM model
I used a bulk renamer that was mentioned in the DJC Airbus 32x releases and converted all of my textures to the right names in a matter of minutes. And editing the sim= and model= entries was a breeze with ACA2005 and FS Repaint. I changed the sim= and model= items with ACA2005 and I used FS Repaint to make sure that the texture was loading properly on the AIM model.

Just noticed your screen name, I've been working on Virgin Blue plans to get their new E190s up in the air. They just went through beta testing and came back with a few suggestions for improvement. I hope to get them out soon....I am tired of looking at them.
Thanks heaps for that... I think I mostly have AIM repaints waiting but we'll see how I go!

Wow, I didn't think anyone was doing the VB schedules, and I can't blame anyone either - they're not exactly forthcoming about what flies on what flight! I've tried and the best I can do is to put "JET" as the aircraft for everything except Pacific Blue and the Albury/Port MacQuarie flights... just not sure how to work the "E70" in for ABX / PQQ. Can't wait to see yours, pls let me know when they're done and public????

You are welcome. They will be released to AVSIM under the Alpha India Group (AIG) set of releases. I hope to get them back into beta this weekend, so far it has been a great week weather wise and I have been outdoors taking advantage of it. When the rain and storms hit tomorrow, I'll be inside working on the plans.
Awesome, I can't wait! I had another look at the schedules on the DJ website last night and the EMJ allocations still don't make much sense for putting plans together... like the EMJ scheduled for CBR-MEL early morning and then nothing from MEL until MEL-HBA-MEL at night...???

Hopefully. Last night I wrapped up Pacific Blue and Polynesian Blue. I have to sort out three timing errors with Virgin Blue (which should be easy...I have three flights that land and take off again within 20 minutes, which doesn't give enough time for the virtual pax to unload and load).
