I need cool websites that you know of ------ about "less known airlines" or historical or defunct airlines such as the following:

1. www.geocities.com/airvietnamairlines

----amazing website with history of Air Vietnam, timetables, schedules, ads and memorabilias

2. www.air-america.net

------amazing website that lives up to my username----there you can find pics of an Air America ticket, timetable of AirAmerica C46 (my username) flying daily flights within the
Ryukyu Islands from Naha, Okinawa, history of Air America in Indochina, Thailand; also has links to other less known airlines that served Indochina during the war.

3. www.cycloneairways.com

-----cool website about an airline based in a city northeast of Manila and is expanding up to Basco, Batanes

4. any other less known websites for the airline fanatic?

Thanks in advance.

Well, there's always the airline history slide-show:

http://www.airlineempires.net/content/view/112/88/

Lot's of defunct airlines in that one.

Hi,

Don't know if it exactly fits, but there's a cool website of airline timetables which I used to look for for routes to fly in flightsim (has quite a few old airlines too I think and I think links to other timetable websites for some airlines too):

The main (index) page is: http://www.timetableimages.com/

Hope it might help/be interesting etc.,

Pierre.
