Hi everyone,

I need a little guidance here. My dad was a pilot, and before he passed away last year, he used an Alinco DJ-G1T VHF/FM transceiver (which is now in my possession). I always used to enjoy listening to it with him, but unfortunately, I never learned how to use it properly. Does anyone know where I could find a users guide on how to tune into airport frequencies? While at AUS and LAS this past month, I couldn't seem to find the correct frequencies, and all I got was static.

Sorry if this seems such an ignorant question...I'm not an aviator by profession, but I'm a definite aerophile!

Thanks,
Peter

Here is a site you can use to get the freq's your looking for. As you have a transceiver keep in mind it's a felony to transmit on it in a manner not pertaining flight operations. (i.e. Only use it to Listen)
