Hi
I have been using FS2004 for ages now and i admit i am fairly good at it, but i was wondering if anyone knows of any freeware packages that will include an FMC (Flight Management Computer). I was hoping for an addon for a 737-800 or something like that but any other aircraft will also do nicely.

Thanks

I know the PDMG 737 has an FMC, however this is a paid addon.

Most addons you find for free are just a model and a panel, people want paying for high quality work like FMCs and the like.

You won't find any freeware that comes with FMC.

If you want a freeware FMC that deals solely in the routing of your flights (not including SIDs and STARs, just waypoints), you can try simpleFMC by Alex Wemmer. You can get it from AVSIM.

Yeah thats a shame but thanks for the info, after searching for months i hadn't found one so it confirms my suspisions. PMDG simulations requires to much computing power that my computer can't offer so it just freezes everytime the frame changes lol

Anyway thanks for your help

You could also try vasFMC.It's pretty easy to use and can do quite a bit.

These guys make great add-on FMCs that can be used on whatever aircraft you want to pair them with and sell for pretty reasonable prices. I love their stuff.

Not quite correct. There was a free B747 made by a group of Chinese developers that did include a FMC - a very full featured one at that.
