I know lots of you guys out there collect model airplanes. Me too! So what planes do you have. Post pictures as well. Here are mine. The last ones are sort of toys, the kind you get at an airport gift shop. The rest are at my Gemini Jets 1:400 scale airport.

Interesting! I've tried sitting on the very last row on board a Delta 767-300ER and I remember the weird feeling when the aircraft turned on ground. Maybe not as noticable as an A346 but still a lot.

Here is some more of my planes, all Gemini Jets 1/400 scale. enjoy
Air Transat A310
This, along with the BA 747, I got months ago. The planes below are my newest planes!
Icelandair 757-300
US Airways 757-200
Swiss International MD-11
South African A340-300
Also, here is an interesting comparison between my Qantas A380 and British Airways 747. The A380s beastly wings are very noticeable, in comparison to the 747s graceful swept back wings.

What is also noticeable is that Gemini seems to have an issue with their 747 No 1 engines taking off before the rest of the plane does. I have a Gemini Jets QF 744ER with exactly the same fault.
Your photo does, however, show just how much better looking the 747 is compared to the A380. I was quite surprised by the size difference, though. The A380 seems to make the 747 look tiny in comparison.
It is a sad ending, albeit a happy one, here at Montreal for today's grand prix.

Here's my collection. I built these all 5-10 years ago when I was young so they are not too impressive. I have about 20 more to be built but I have no idea when it will happen. These are all kits. The top shelf with the civilian airliners is mostly 1:100 scale. The bottom shelf is mostly 1:72.

Here are mine:
SQ B77W (9V-SWA)
Got this on a flight back from SIN a couple of months back.
CZ B772 (B-2051)
Friend in Wuhan gave this to me, no idea how she got a hold of this one. But I'm glad she gave it to me
Sorry for the bad quality of the photos...taken on my phone...
BTW what's the best site/shop in Australia to get some models? I'm particularly interested in an QF A380, and an A345/A346 model (not fussed what carrier)

Pete, try Triking Model Cars on Hay Street or City Models (Piccadilly Arcade) in Perth. They are the ones I go to whenever I buy models. Perth Hobby Centre (Murray Street) also has a smallish collection of mainly Gemini Jets, while City Models have stacks of Phoenix and Gemini. Triking is also good but sometimes they're a bit slow to get new releases. Last time I was at City Models about a month ago they still had the GJ QF A380 there.
It is a sad ending, albeit a happy one, here at Montreal for today's grand prix.

I've never bought a model airplane before, but I just put down $70+20 (shipping) for a Phoenix 1:200 787-8 in Air Canada colours. I can't wait. It's supposed to be the most accurate 787 model on the market today. If you want, I'll post some pics when she arrives. They'll be good too.

My two newest planes have just arrived in the mail Wednesday. The first is a Northwest Airlines 747-200 in the final livery, which has become one of my favorite models in my collection. The other model is an AirTran 717. I have been waiting for a 717 in AirTran colours for a while now, so when it came out I ordered it right away. Some pics are posted below.
