I own CFS2. This game was appreantly modled on the same graphics engine as the upcoming FS2002. Even though the game is a combat sim I still use FS2000 sceneries and aircraft to practice landings and takeoffs. The frame rates that I get using FS200 Sceneries, aircraft and panels are almost always better above 20fps in all weather on my 400 Celeron and V3. When I purchased Fs2000(and subsequantly returned it) I was getting 5fps. So I'm wondering whether anyone knows if the fps will be comprable to what im getting now on CFS2 in the new sim?

will FS2002 have any different textures, since we already have day and night, and people have made planes sooo realistic that most people will buy FS2002, just for better frame rates, and we'll be downloading FS2000 planes to FS2002. What more could we do to these a/c? Some already have the most complicated systems I've ever seen! Tilting bogies, reverse thrusters, flaps, spoilers, moving pilot figures inside the cockpit, instrument panels, and so on. Besides more realistic scenery, what more can be done to the a/c? How are the a/c in CFS2? Could they be used in FS2000? Or do they have special textures?
