OK so final clue....
The African airline featured in the new program is located on a tiny airline close to where we filmed this very old french aircraft type...
Once you find this, the European airline featured is located at 11 o'clock.
This requires a bit of research but it can be done.
Good luck  Wink

I think the African Airline is STP Airways from Sao Tomé which operates the Boeing 767 and the European airline is EuroAtlantic Airways from Portugal which operates the Boeing 757 and 767 and owns 38% of STP Airways

Right well Sao Tome becomes out 787th destination... on the day the 787 was scheduled to fly... what a shame.. Anyhow I thought the 757 part of the DVD was very interesting with the overflight of Africa, communications issues, landing on that tiny island on a short runway, weather on the way back, nice night landing in Lisbon and a nice crew. The 767 is rather standard but really nice views in the flightdeck during the 4 takeoffs and landings.
All in all I'm very happy with the program...

The planning right now is for us to release 3 sold out DVDs next week... followed by our 212th airline before our 1st summer closing... and I will say I'm again very excited about this next program  Smile but no clues yet, sorry  Wink

It is indeed Euroatlantic and STP..even though I love the 757 and 767, I have to admit flying BRU-TFS-BRU twice (and with the exact same aircraft type) is not really appealing..

As the producer of this series one of my aims has always been to bring our viewers the maximum out of each program... It would have been just as easy to make this program strictly on the 757 to Sao Tome... not to mention a lot cheaper to produce while bringing in the same revenue.. but I think our viewers are used to getting a packed program with as much as possible...
We normally would have done the Tenerife roundtrip once to complete the program but I decided to do it twice for it would allow us to give our viewers some more and different views on the pilots flying the approaches and landings as well as takeoffs. The 767 happens to be one of those aircraft that gives a few more possibilities thanks to its size so we just went for it... Off course another destination would have been nicer but the choice was Hurghada in the middle of the night or another Tenerife in daylight...

The only disappointing thing here is you for making childish, foolish and most of all incorrect comments regarding the WAR website. It does show the Euro Atlantic DVD. I think it's completely unnecessary to personally 'attack' JustPlanes here.

This time only 1 clue will be given but its a good one that should seriously limit the possibilities...

The next airline joining is the 9th member of one of the airline alliances and by that I mean that we have already featured 8 airlines of that alliance in the series.

Singapore A380 would be even better  Silly

CB777 : Is it going to feature Airbus or Boeing products

PHBUF : To be honest, I could care less about the A380..when it comes to the big birds, I'd be much more interested in A340-500/-600, B777-300 and the big Ant

JustPlanes : Thats great to hear... While our goal is try to give an overview of airlines and routes all across the globe... we also want to try to fly each type
JustPlanes : Scenery and operations is what is in every of our program... We focus a part of each DVD on showing both the views on takeoff and landings... as well
JustPlanes : That is extremely kind of you and would love to feature that on a program but would off course have to be part of a KLM DVD.
EMA747 : JP - On a similar theme I have a slight request (and please please don't take this as a negative comment in any way) but.....would it be possible for
PHBUF : No problem at all, but of course I can't promise anything..but if you ever get to make a KLM DVD, let me know and I will see what I can do!
JustPlanes : That is indeed a note our cameramen have however most of the time the light makes such an ideal shot impossible... We've been a bit more successful a
JustPlanes : Absolutely! It would be great to visit! Over the years we've filmed almost all KLM partners other than Martinair... KLM Cityhopper, KLM UK, KLM Exel

Danny : That doesn't count as clue 2 as we knew that from clue 1 already
Cb777 : I would love to see a TAM B777-300ER
PHBUF : Well, according to the Star Alliance website five airlines founded the Star Alliance..the sixth member was VARIG, and apparently Ansett Australia and
Cb777 : Air New Zealand B777
NZA320 : Thanks That would be really cool, also a good possibility since Justplanes did a DVD on Freedom Air a few years back which was part of Air NZ so they

PHBUF : Bush flying would involve a lot of short legs and usually involves only one pilot..most of the time that is. It does look like it's gonna be something

Luftfahrer : The B6 of Brazil? Not a bad guess... they already have the Embraer E190 covered, but not the E195. Sounds interesting!
Pitintl : Exactly...since the E195 is a type missing from the logs and it's extremely close to the E190. And Azul is a very new airline, therefore it just made
JustPlanes : I'm 60% sure that a 777 will be coming within the next year Comair arrived in the UK on Thursday... And as far as the next release... maybe another c
Midcon385 : That would indeed be awesome! Would love if that was an Air Canada 777-300 flight! Tim
757767lover : In the latest edition October of the magazine Airliner World the advert for JPV shows the Comair Air Canada and Azul flying the E-190 and E-195. It s
Midcon385 : Well then, thanks to Airliner World! Tim
Pitintl : What can I say? I'm good! I can't wait to get this one. I should order the GOL one at the same time. It's on my want list. Should be an exciting prog
JustPlanes : It totally is very exciting... David Neeleman opens the program so that, to me anyway, is already exciting! The 1st trip is to Santos Dumont and the
Post contains images Luftfahrer : I hope David Neeleman will let you film on his other airline... sorry to be such a nag [Edited 2009-09-09 08:24:38]
Midcon385 : Sounds beyond awesome! Solid work, Just Planes! Don't we all wish... Tim
757767lover : Hi JPV is there any chance of any more of the "Flight in the Cockpit" being released onto DVD? I've just finished the 1st flight in the COMAIR program
JustPlanes : There are a few more Flight in the Cockpits planned however it all depends on when there is an open slot for a release... As long as we have many new
EMA747 : JP, any clues on the next release whenever it might be?
757767lover : Boy you are so right i cannot wait to write a review on this one. It would be nice to see the other 2 in the ROYAL series that was all Simon
SAflyer : I have received my Comair DVD yesterday, what a brilliant dvd, the crews are absolutely professional and really go out of their way to explain everyt
Midcon385 : I just ordered the Comair DVD. I know that it has to be awesome, so can't wait to get it and enjoy it! Tim
JustPlanes : You want a clue... ok but this time it will be one that requires some work... I'm giving you the 1st 3 letters of the alphabet Good luck
JustPlanes : Always looking for some comments/reviews for our website if anyone has the opportunity... Thank you!

Cb777 : I don't think Aires of Colombia flies a B737 route that is 6 hours long...
Cb777 : I am going to guess Copa Airlines because they have the longest B737NG routes in the world over six hours. I know this does not match JP's clue of the
BW424 : I believe its Copa as well! I hope it is!!!
JustPlanes : Its not COPA guys... Couple of years back we had long talks with COPA but they lead to nothing unfortunately. Anyway not that long to wait... looks li
EMA747 : Carribean Airlines could fit. It has the A,B,C letters right. Also they appear to operate a 737NG from Trinidad to Toronto. Not sure if it's 6+ hours
CB777 : I don't think thats it due to JP's clue regarding the dvd
JustPlanes : ok let me try to lead you guys on the right track... the 3 letters are part of the airline's call sign
Pitintl : Could it be TUIFly Nordic with the 737-800? Their callsign in Bluescan. A long shot guess.
BW424 : I seriously wish it was! But definitely isn't because I would have known! LOL POS-YYZ is approx. 5.5hrs. It could be done in 5hrs if winds are favora
EMA747 : I suppose the 6+ hour flight could be a charter one.
JustPlanes : Does anyone know the four color process? Its CMYK... rite... So take the 3rd one in there and you get the 1st half of this airline's call sign.. Then
Pitintl : I was close! TUIFly.....Callsign: Yellow Cab!
Luftfahrer : I was going to ask whether you had plans for any more German airlines... now there is my answer What a pity STR is not on the list, but the destinatio
Sebjacques92 : The new release looks great JP!! I can't express how long i have wanted to see an Innsbruck arrival and departure explained from a pilots perspective.
757767lover : This was posted on the 17th July. Thanks for listening, I've already got my order in with Ron at JPV-UK. Simon
EMA747 : This looks great. The INN flight looks like a fun one to watch. The Transavia DVD has INN as a destination as well. Might be worth a look. Great pilot
EMA747 : JP - I have a slightly strange question but do you have any idea how many copies of the Iran Air DVD you made and shipped out worldwide? Andy S
777guy : I am curious about the difference of running time for German [228 mins] versus English [177mins]?
JustPlanes : Hello Andy, Is there a particular reason you are asking that? Would have to research but prefer keeping things like that confidential if you don't mi
JustPlanes : Working with TUIfly was a total pleasure! Now we had already worked with Hapag Lloyd and Hapag Lloyd Express so we were no strangers there but we wer
JustPlanes : The main reason the German version is longer is because of the cockpit presentation in German... and other than that maybe a few of the presentations
EMA747 : The reason I am asking is I saw on ebay today someone selling both these DVDs for $75! In the add he says they are very rare and that you only releas
JustPlanes : I knew there was a reason thats why I asked... and indeed I understand your question... Actually he's exaggerating a bit. We only released 20 copies
757767lover : Do you get to pick the routes ie the airline sayes we have routes XYZ. Or can you make a request? Simon
EMA747 : You really only released 20 copies?
JustPlanes : The DVDs are replicated in multiples of 1000...
EMA747 : So you mean more like 20x1000 = 20,000?
JustPlanes : I really can't give out production figures.. but what I was saying is it wasn't 20 since we have to have then replicated in multiples of 1000pcs
EMA747 : I see. I totally understand you not being able to say the exact figures. In other words the ebay guy is talking a load of rubbish saying there are on
JustPlanes : Off course its rubbish... I was just trying to make a point by saying that if we made 100 DVDs we would lose a ton of money... The new DVD arrived at
JustPlanes : Somehow I overlooked this question, sorry. Depends on the airline... In the majority of the cases we pick but not always... But even when we pick the
Midcon385 : I second this! The Comair DVD is outstanding! Haven't even watched half of the DVD yet but it's amazing...the crews are happy to give literally tons
757767lover : Many thanks for the reply. I noted the change of crew on the HF6148 did Capt Aldinger fly out as passengers or did they join the plane at Boa Vista?
JustPlanes : Because of the length of the flight they have to change crews in the Cape Verde Islands. The crew stays there until the next flight...
757767lover : i am so sorry but seeing the latest release and the 1st one in duel language i am disappointed with the program. Please i want to make this very clear
Blue_Angel : Could you elaborate a little (give an example) 757767lover ? Cause I was interested in this program...
EMA747 : I have the new DVD but not watched it yet. I will comment when I have seen it. Andy S
777guy : To be honest I wonder why you make two languish versions.
EMA747 : I guess if they are selling these DVDs in German speaking countries then they are far more likely to buy them if they have German language options. P
JustPlanes : Not sure which program 757767lover is referring to... The latest program is not the 1st dual language program we've released so I'm confused... The la
Midcon385 : Sounds like a solid marketing strategy to me. But then again, ich verstehe Deutsch, at least good enough to get the gist of something. Tim
Luftfahrer : That sounds good. While I don't have a problem with understanding English speaking pilots (some are really good at that, some others not really...) i
Kaitak : Ok, just got the message on Facebook ... new aircraft type coming next week. New airline as well? Looking fwd to this! Any clues? Russian or Western t
777guy : So the English version is 3 hours and the German version is 4 hours. In spite of that some of my personal favorites are German Airlines such as such
EMA747 : Is the new DVD out this weekend then? Any clues to get us going on the end of week guessing game. (I'll get one right one day ). Andy S
Cb777 : Looks like its going to be the Air Canada B777-300ER!
JustPlanes : Oh Now wouldnt that be nice!
Midcon385 : You're teasing us... Tim
Post contains links Kaitak : Looks terrific ... four hours of 777s! Certainly going to get this one! http://www.worldairroutes.com/AirCanada777.html It looks like JP's relationshi

EMA747 : I think you have a best seller on your hands JP. It looks fantastic. Great to have the 77W in the series. I am going to get this one as soon as my loc
PHBUF : This is an amazing release indeed..I wish a discount would be given on the AC 763 DVD though when purchasing this baby
Midcon385 : Wouldn't have hurt as I bought the 763 DVD at the same time as the 773 DVD, but that's okay. Tim
JustPlanes : As the sun rises in London today the DVDs will be with our UK distributor...
Luftfahrer : Awesome... finally another Triple 7 program! Going to get this for sure!
KrisYYZ : I was soo excited when I learned about the AC 777 video! I just returned from flying YYZ-FRA on an AC 773. I'm looking forward to reliving my flight f
Post contains links Alberchico : I just want to say that I love these videos especially the Baboo Embraer -190 one. Just out of curiosity is it possible to release these programs in w
PHBUF : +1 for the widescreen, that would be great I would think the vast majority of customers have widescreen monitors or TVs nowadays so a widescreen DVD w
757767lover : I do not know about "" vast majority " some of us have low income. I know im haveing to live off the state; but if the majority goes for this option
Kappel : I asked about this a while ago and was shot down quite rigoursly... . I'd love to see that as well... Anyway... LOVE the 77W video!!! I saw it on you
757767lover : Without question it has to be OASIS HONG KONG to LGW Simon
PHBUF : Hmm I don't know about that..I personally feel the Air Atlanta Icelandic 744 was at least as good as the Oasis one..and, while a bit less good on the
JustPlanes : Hello kids... Let me just say that when the market is ready for the next format, we will be there. Right now it is not... When you produce the amount
PHBUF : Hehe unfortunately that certainly answers the question JP I can certainly live with the current 4:3 format, but I for sure welcome a widescreen format
EMA747 : I for one am quite gald you are sticking with the current format. I mean Blue Ray DVDs of big movie titles are still damn expensive in the UK so I hat
PHBUF : Just to clarify, I am not a big fan of blueray just yet! I was referring to widescreen only (16:9 or 16:10)..BR is way too expensive for now, I just w
JustPlanes : Widescreen would require a big investment for us as far as filming equipment, editing equipment etc... and that would just be temporary as we will aga
PHBUF : Ok, thanks for the detailed explanation JP, highly appreciated. Can't wait to see the AC 773 DVD
Kaitak : Any chance of some hints for the next JP cockpit DVD ... should be out next week, according to the schedule? Big, small, western, Russian ... somethin
757767lover : Hi JP. I was just looking at the schedules and noticed that TUI-fly was listed as a new airline, but wasn't it just a name change from Hapag-Lloyd? Si
Cb777 : I finished watching the AC B777 DVD and it was truly amazing! Now if an AC B777LR dvd were to be released I would be in heaven
757767lover : Hi WAR/JPV You should have had my reviews of the AC programs. Any clues to the new airline coming up????????????????? Simon
