Usual frames are like 26-30? I keep it locked at 30 @ lighter airports, and 26 at CPU intensive airports. My computer is a MacBook Pro...LOL not even sure about the specs.
Sure i'll post more...but first I have to fly again.
Yeah, it does. I thought it was X! What are you using for these marvelous look-real like clouds?
Flight Environment or REX it's out for FS9 and I haven't heard yet!
I wish someone at X Plane would FINALLY make an awesome scenery package for SXM like that one. The only one we have is a tiny SXM scenery package and doesn't even have the new terminal.
Its not a question of if an Air France 773 will be at MSP, its just a question of when.-May 31, 2009
I had the same problem...use something like photobucket.com and open an account. Upload your pictures there, and then you will see a link that says "share". Copy and paste the link for "forums" into your post here at A.net.....and presto!

Yeah, I've had it where I type a message, paste the link and nothing happens. I don't know if it's an A.net issue or a photobucket issue. I save the post as a draft and come back later. I then try again and it's fine. It should work eventually, don't give up!

Since joining LH virtual airlines, I've been on a mission to acquire their whole fleet. I think I'm just about there. I picked up Eurowings 2004, which has the ATR 42 and 72 and BAE 146 all in LH livery. Here's the 146...

Very nice pics! That's an add-on scenery package I take it? Nice...
Thanks! Yeah, I got it off either Flightsim or Avsim, was very easy to install, & there's loadsa cool stuff like docking assistance which I had never seen before. There's actually loadsa Argentinian airport scenery.

I've been doing quite a bit of flying lately, but usually only get one screenshot from the flight.
I really need to make sure I get more on future flights. But for now;
American Airlines 757-200 with Winglets on the stand in SXM after arriving from MIA as AA687
British Airways 777-200ER G-VIIW, high above the Atlantic Ocean, nearing Ireland flying BA238; BOS-LHR.
British Airways 747-400, turning East after departing runway 31L at JFK, beginning the long haul home as Speedbird 174 Heavy to LHR
A China Airlines A300-600 operating CI606 to TPE, having just left runway 07L at HKG
Leaving the British Coastline near Bournemouth as EZY8667, flying LGW-ALC.
and last but not least;
My Qantas A380 routing QF031 out of Singapore bound for London Heathrow at 0035 local time.

Thank you!
Quoting MaverickM11 (Reply 99): What operating system/settings are you using? I need a new computer Smile
My system is: Intel E6850 (2x 3,0GHz), Nvidia 8800GTS (320mb), 2GB RAM. Nothing anywhere close to today's high end systems, but FS9 runs perfectly smooth on it

Thanks...I have FS9 on a 2002-build 2GHz machine and I think it's time to upgrade. It's still tolerable on my machine but not as pretty as some of these screenshots . I just have to avoid ever going to LAX with any kind of AI.
Yes. I use woai which is quite frame saving. Slider is at about 80% ai traffic to prevent overcrowding.

I've had a similar system two years ago... those were the days Go for a new one, you won't be disappointed. Flying with everything running smooth is an amazing fun. I never bothered going to FRA back then because it was more like a power point presentation than a simulation
Where did you find the Southwest AI package? And kind of off topic, can someone explain how I install an AI package? Last time I tried, I ended up having to reinstall FSX.
Pretty sure it's the WN package from woai ( http://www.world-of-ai.com/allpackages.php ).
Scroll down there, download, and install it using their installer (see top of the page for location). The rest should be pretty straightforward, but if you have any questions or encounter problems, feel free to ask for assistance.

Quoting Luftfahrer (Reply 117): You can download the repaint from the Avsim library (filenames: lds767_repaint_american_airlines_2.zip , fix aa-right-reg-fix.zip).

Nope nothing for PMDG I'm afraid. External model is beginning to show its age - I've done a few Overland 737s but I know that's not to everyone's taste either
Cheers! My specs are nothing special to be honest. Got a 2 year-old ATi card so I get 4x anti aliasing off the top of my head but otherwise a relatively cheap desktop PC.

Ever since the release of FS2004 (2003 if I'm right), I've been looking for water textures..I've never really found textures I REALLY liked, there was always something that I didn't like..but now..2009..six years after FS2004's release..I've finally found them For now I've only made one shot, but it should give a good impression of what they look like. Of course they look a bit less good at low altitudes, but it's still by far the best I've ever seen. For those wondering..it's Zinertek's Ultimate Water Advanced!

Quoting Luftfahrer (Reply 164): Wow Tom! Another stunner! I presume that is the Overland B777? If so, would you also consider making it compatible to Posky's Triple?
Yup the paint is for the Overland bird, might do a few (like below) to replace those nasty old ones I made, but yeah I think the POSKY bird awaits...

Wow Tom, you are painting A LOT of excellent paints very fast! I realize you don't really take requests but could you possibly consider doing a TAAG 777? I have yet to find a good repaint of one...
Quoting FX772LRF (Reply 180): Also, how do you get that release and information form?
I was lucky to be able to get my hands on an actual DAL loadsheet. So I just copied the layout and filled in the variables I received from my own tools (load manager, fuel planner, weather forecast, etc.).
