HI chaps,
I just got myself some payware military aircraft and am looking for places to go zooming around low level
So far, I use: Grand Canyon, Swiss Alps, parts of Wales, the range near Mountain Home AFB. Would love to hear some suggestions and tips for places to go sub 200ft!
Preferably lots of valleys that I can follow.
Cheers!
Me: (Lining up on final) I shall now select an aiming point. || Instructor: Well, I hope it's the runway...

I like the mountain ranges east of KSEA. Follow the SEA 065 radial to about 25 DME, drop in to the valleys and buzz around, tight corners and high cliffs. For flying slow props, I like flying into Bandera State (4W0) in that valley, about SEA 068/32DME. Fun visual approaches in a BE58.

SXM is good for low level, especially if you like getting close to the water. I like to take off rwy 09 , climb over the mountain, get over the water (still maintaining HDG 096) then make a 10º-15º bank 180º turn into the small airport in between two mountains. It's a pretty interesting little strip to land at. Make sure you stop in time, or you go off into a small creek/river that lets into the ocean.
Happy flying.

How about the Lake District?
Other good options I find are the Norwegian Fjords, central and north Iceland (Akureyri is a great place to start and finish), the Andes in South America, and
