Where Two Get 2 Spare Wheels For A Revell 747-400?

I recently moved, and the moving company managed to pack a United 747-400 model of mine in a way that would guarantee it to break. Luckily, most of the breaks were on glue joints, so they can be fixed easily. However, two wheels went missing.

I just found one of these on eBay, and I'm prepared to buy the whole model just to get the two wheels (this particular model has a huge amount of sentimental value), but I thought that it might be possible to just find two wheels somewhere and spare a new model from being ruined in the search of two tiny parts.

If you can offer any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it. The model is a Revell 747-400, 1:144 in the grey/blue United colors.

Thanks!

Jeremy

Since your 747 is a Revell kit, I know that Revell has a spare parts service: http://www3.revell.com/Need-Parts.parts.0.html

I have never tried this service before. You will have to pay for shipping and handling and you have to order it online. You'll also need the kit and part number.

Hope this helps.
