I take it that this is freeware? If so, I might consider downloading and installing it...if I knew how.

It's very simple to do. I think instructions are provided with the install
Here's the install instructions from the GEG file.
1.Unzip the zipped file to a temporary location
2. Open the folder
3. Move the "FRF-KGEGv2" folder to the FS9/Addon Scenery/ folder in your computer.
4. Start FS9, go to the Scenery Library, click "add area", locate and activate "FRF-KGEGv2",
and de-activate any other version of KGEG you may have, including version 1.
5. Close FS, restart, and fly...

PS: As far as I know, this only work with Flight Simulator 9.

I'm really saddened that DFW has been left out all these years by companies. Being in in the DFW area and flying out of there very regularly I would love nothing more than to have a very descent scenery of DFW. With FSDreamteam pushing back DFW it seems it won't ever become of something.
