Never hesitate to give us any hints so we can start guessing what carrier it might be.

I would love to see a World Sea Routes. I am just about to apply for a cadetship to train to be a deck-officer on board either a cruise or cargo ship. A JP type ship DVD would be very interesting but I think nobody makes one at the moment.

Hi. JPV Any clues to the new one.

Final release of 2009 will arrive on Friday...
European Airline...
Will feature a medium haul aircraft and route to 2 destinations...
Will feature a long haul aircraft and route to 3 destinations...
Airline is part of a group we've already featured in the series
Great crews make this a very interesting program
4 Hours long!!

What I find nice in this program is that the medium haul part of the DVD and the long haul part were directed by different people so each of the 2 hours bring different styles...

are the aircrafts 757 and 767?

Well I'm guessing Star alliance= 7 past airline

/ Well we have no OneWorld members. Sky Team = Air France in the past

With my name yes i would not mind the 757 767 but i think we are looking at A321 A340

BUT I COULD BE WRONG

I'm going with Arkefly and the 757/767. They are part of the TUI group which you have featured a few members of.

I believe it's Lufthansa. Star Alliance member, extensive short- and longhaul network, popular airline.
ArkeFly doesn't seem special enough for JP to say he'd never expected to see them featured in the series.
If my guess becomes true, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get this program for Christmas. If not, I'm going to stick to Air Canada  Wink

The 1st one is a smaller airline but fantastic pilots make this a great program... 4 hours long with short and long haul and some destinations we haven't been to before... The 2nd one is a big airline that I never expected to see in the series... thats the update for now. Have a great December!

Luftfahrer - We talking about the 1st one at the moment I believe. The big/popular airline is the second release from now.

That could apply to a lot of Star/One World airlines.  Big grin

Sorry! I got mixed up. I thought you were refering to the second release (=the big European airline).

Quoting EMA747 (Reply 40):

Since the second isn't part of any group now, that is very well the case.
Still, I think there's a good chance it's LH nonetheless. Further guesses of mine: BA, IB, AZ.

Alas they do not fly the 757 but they do the 737-800.

This http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arkefly says they have one and it's leased from Skyservice. Have they given it back?

PS - Simon I went into the shop at EMA but Steve was not in today. I will go back soon as they didn't have either of the AC DVD or the Dubrovnik. Have they been shipped to the UK yet JP?

The Dubrovnik DVD was shipped a couple of weeks ago...
The Air Canada DVD has been shipped at least 4 or 5x already but it sells out quickly I think... not sure why it wasn't in stock...
