Do I Need An Extra Hard Drive?

Hey, I'm not so good with knowing how much space I need on my system, or how good it is. Basically I bought a new Dublin scenery & it looks great but runs very slowly, sometimes takes 30 mins to load. I have fs9 just running on one processor to itself, & always use CCleaner before I go simming. My system is: PACKARD BELL BV ISTART 2311Phoenix - Award WorkstationBIOS v6.00PG AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ (2 CPUs), ~2.1GHz 766MB RAM. My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE, and I use Nhancer, but I'm not too sure if it's running to it's full potential....I usually have the fps limiter off...so if I get a new hard drive will everything be good?!

Thanks

If you've purchased Eiresim Dublin scenery, see the requirements below

As you can see 2GB RAM are recommended! When it comes to HDD, I don't really believe it could solve your problems!

How much space do you have left?

Don't be worry. Whenever you're going to upgrade your PC, scenery is always there.  thumbsup

That's your problem right there. Get as much RAM as you can. I always get the maximum my system can handle. Try to get 4gb.

A hard drive will have negligible effect on performance, that is unless you don't have a SATA drive or something running slower than 7200RPM to begin with.

I know how do you feel. That's exactly how I felt until I got my new PC.
Keep believing.  Smile
