I was thinking if we could have an Airliners.net fly in. It would be great! Perhaps the graphic designers on this board could design an A.net plane?!

Just my 2cents!

which airline would want to sponsor it?  Smile I'm sure most people here cannot afford to buy a ticket to whereever it will be (Norway would be the logical choice, of course).

I definatly support it! I have a SATCO ATC S1-rating,l so i can be ATC if no-one else can be. I think the main airport should be Luleå, Sweden (the city where the a.net server is located).

Airliners.net is Swedish not Norwegian  Smile

Take a look @ Ryan Powers' site http://ryefly.tripod.com. He has designed an Airliners.net jet!

Maybe KLM should get in contact with him to design a new livery. That fictional jumbo is a lot better than their current (40 year old) design which I think needs an update.

I have to say that the site Delta717 listed has a great Airliners.net jet. That scheme could easily be put onto other types of jets easily! I really like the idea. We don't really need to have an airline support it...airliners.net can support it. It would be a great experience for a lot of us and something we all can enjoy. Meet the other people out there.
I have a question for those of you out there that participate in these fly-ins. Is there an offical site or something that has all the fly-ins. I am really interested in participating. Thanks for you help.
