I just reinstalled FS9 and all of the AI I had previously, but now the aircraft that come with MSFS9 are appearing in the AI--those hideous 747s/737s/M83s etc--how do I get rid of them? I don't mind keeping the general aviation but the commercial jets have got to go.

Is there a way to keep just the GA?

No, you loose it all. I just downloaded all the freeware AI available in WOAI which included some very good GA planes.

EDIT: actually, there is a way, but it would mean having to go through the thousands of flightplans and deleting them manually one by one. Hardly worth the effort.

Just go into the aircraft folder and delete them. Or if you wish to keep the aircraft change the aircraft id.

Mike

EDIT...This doesnt technically delete the flight plans themselves, but takes away the aircraft assigned, thus no more default AI

If you want, I can copy mine.

As stated above, I went through and cut out all the 737s, 747s, 777s, and Dash from my ai flightplans. The default ones, that is. So if you want, just shoot me a message and I can send it to you.
