Thanks for the heads up! I just installed EK, SQ, AF & QF and they look gorgeous! Does anyone know where to find realistic cockpits and sounds for this beast?

Just downloaded it too, looks pretty good:

Gotta find a better panel though. Using Boeing's 747 panel in this thing seems a little blasphemous. I also have Abacus' A380 v2, but I can't say I'm thrilled with that package.

I am putting together a simple panel using Ken Mitchell's A340 gauges and some CLS A340 gauges together with a main A380 panel bitmap I got from another package. obviously I cannot upload to avsim or any other places without asking for permission so it's on my hard drive only.

Of course I could send you the cfg file (if you have the above mentioned gauges) and use it yourself, I still need to do some work (like putting an autopilot) and adding overhead (ken mitchell) and throttle (ken mitchell with some mods)

I couldn't agree more. I thought it was a woeful add-on, even more shocking that it was payware...there are far superior freeware aircraft available.

I've always regarded Abacus as a waste of money - all their add-ons I have tried have been crap

The A380 is the only one I tried and that put me off them completely.

For freeware???!!! Heck yeah it looks good!! Compared to the payware A380 I have (like the above mentioned photo), this one looks way better. It's still a flying heap, IMHO.

A380 does not need sound, it's the whispering giant

Looks nice though!
