I'd like to know if the Flight1 ATR 72-500 is worth the 55 USD that they are charging. As this is near the PMDG pricing, I'd expect something near PMDG standard. Also, it'd be great if there are tutorial flights to guide me along on how to use it.
Another important thing is that I'd like to know if there are lots of liveries available. =)

You "expect something near PMDG standard", in fact you will receive something that outclasses PMDG's standard. Just keep in mind the addon is a few years old, and will therefore not feature the latest and greates eye-candies. However, I've spent countless hours flying this plane and there I can say that it is one of the most authentic and realistic addons on offer, particulary in its category (short-haul, commuter).

I've had it since shortly after it came out, although I really haven't done much with IFR navigation...just alot of VFR flights, takeoffs and landings.
Overall, I like it, and I'd recommend it if you want a good turboprop airliner for FS. The flight characteristics seem decent, and close to the book as long as you follow procedures. (Firewalling the engines on climbout in the F1 ATR will result in better-than-book climbs, but IRL, you'd overtempt and damage the engines. Using proper power settings will result in by-the-book climbs.) Landings have been described by ATR pilots as being "trucky", and the sim seems to recreate how I would interpret that to feel, having flown turboprops in the past. Frame rates are good, even for my laptop. I've never dealt much with the systems, but they seem to be fairly extensively recreated. The 2d panel and VC are great, as is the external model (although it is relatively old, the shape nice, but it doesn't have as much detail as you'd expect from a currently released model). It's fun to fly.
I'd be happy to answer any more Q's, although I'd probably need to start flight sim again and get my joystick of its box again, which I haven't done since I'll be staying the next couple of months in a hotel...
I haven't had the PMDG Beech installed for a while, but from what I remember, this is better. As for turboprops, I'd also consider the Aeroworx King Air 200. That's another quality addon.
