Hey everybody, looking for some more help.

Finally had some time to fly a flight on FS9 today and was flying EIDW-EDDM, however as I passed over the Belgian/German border it crashed. Ive looked around and can only find a suggestion that it is a faulty file but not able to find out which file it is, anyone had this problem before and know how to resolve it?

Any add-on scenery installed for that area? If so de-activate it in the scenery settings window and try again.

Yes I have tried this, Ive even disable all my addon sceneries and it hasnt solved it. I can start at any of the airports in the area, its just when Im flying over the Belgian/German border it crashes.

Could this have been a one off problem? Ive flown EGLL-EDDM on x4 speed and when I cam to the trouble area, went to normal speed and got through without any problems? I was using autosave earlier, when I went back to the effected flight I always got the same problem, would whatever problem I had been saved in this? Going to try EIDW-EDDF tommorow will see how things go!

What if you try lookin up the file contents from where you got the add-on? If the autosave thing isn't the problem.

This is just a shot in the dark - but you may need to replace your terrain.dll file. Just copy and overwrite it from one of the FS9 installation CDs.

So managed to get DUB-FRA-DUB without any problems, apart from a go around at FRA thanks to a badly set panel, but with some tinkering about I finally seem able to fly proper flights! Its amazing with a bit of scenery and some good wing views how life like these flights can be!
