Hello!
I recently started to collect aircraft models. All but a few of my 20 or so models are 1/200 scale and are mainly from Skymarks, Hogan, precision models and others. I am having a really difficult time finding anything smaller than a B737 in 1/200 scale. Does anyone know if there are Dash 8s, ATRs, CRJ 100/200/700/900 or any ERJs available in 1/200 ?
What is the consensus in the collector community, does the scale really matter? For some reason I really want all my models to be on the same scale so the size of the planes is comparable to the real thing.

Lessee...
Here's what I've found for GeminiJets:
American Eagle ERJ-145
Northwest Airlink RJ-85 (Don't know if that's what you're looking for, but it fits the category)
AC Jazz/US AW Express/QantasLink Dash 8-100
Herpa should have some too, but I haven't had a chance to look yet.

I saw a Bahamasair HS 748, made by Gemini Jets, in 1:200 at Airliners International last month. It looked like a nice model, but the blue seemed a little too dark.

I have the Q400 in 1/200, it's all metal and right on par with Gemini Jets 1/200 models. It doesn't have a brand on it, I picked it up at the Alaska / Horizon company store here in Seattle.
Incidentally - they are open to the public and offer all Alaska branded Gemini Jets 1/200 models for $30. So far I've bought them all, 737-400 in Salmon and Alaska Statehood colors, 737-800 in Boeing Dreamliner and Starliner 75 colors, and even the MD80. Also picked up the metal 1/200 727-200 for the same price.

Regional jets took quite a long time to arrive in 1/400 scale, and even now the EMB-170/190 range still doesn't exist. So I think it will be still a little while before 1/200 sees a complete lineup of RJ's.
If you must collect regional planes, I'd say do a combo of 1/200 and 1/400 planes. Besides, it will look great when you can have the same a/c in both scales. I've done that with a few 747's and it's stunning!
I like British Airways! I'm not sure why, but I do! ;-)

Gemini Jets' web page is now saying metal 1:200 Convair 240 / 340 / 440 / 580 models will be "coming soon". They are showing a picture of three Convair Liners, in Allegheny, Mohawk, and North Central colors. They look like great models!
