Day by day soon to speed up...old United stuff will be disappearing and replaced with PMCO stuff. Please, I do not want to turn this into a Tulip vs Globe thread, but I would love a piece of history soon, before it's gone! Like Saul Bass' branded hardware. Would (IS) the new United SELLING some great pieces of the Tulip etc. I have a window section of a Pan Am 707 fuselage with the blue cheatline hanging on my wall. It came from the desert and was not cheap! eBay has mostly little things like dishes and amenity kits from 2003 (and call them vintage . But couldn't United make money selling old signage and stuff? A scraped piece of an old 747 or 767 in Saul Bass colors? I'd Chain saw a tulip right off her fuselage and make an awesome coffee table. VARIG threw out individual letters from old signs. I saw a 3 foot "V" in the trash- but I couldn't get to it without being arrested in Rio! Using large chunks of buildings, cars and airplanes is not a new thing to decorate. Does anyone know how to pick through what UA will discard or are they "officially" selling things that will be an antique one day: like my PA 707 chuck of fuselage! (Lufthansa sells old seats and fan blades off old turbofan engines)
The world is missing love, let's use our flights to spread it!

Good question . I bought a first class NW blanket from a guy in Michigan for $5 . I also bought a sealed RJ blanket cheap on ebay.
