Friends,
I have had a set of first-class DC-10 seats in my house for about 5-6 years now. I love them, and they are truly a comfortable furniture set and an excellent conversation piece. However, I'm moving now and I need the space more than I need the conversation piece.
I posted them on Craigslist and had a few bites, but nothing spectacular. It had me wondering if perhaps there was a better medium to sell these? I'd be concerned about selling them outside of the local area, as the freight charges would be astronomical. Being located in the Ventura County area helps because it's close to Los Angeles, but it's far from a global audience.

Wow, no suggestions? That's OK.. these are a bit of a rarity.

$295 is a great price IMHO. I've sold large items on ebay as 'pick up only'. Not sure if that will work.
