Dear friends, in November I will have around 10 hours in ATL between two flights. What is the best place in the terminal area to view as many planes as possible?

My recommendation is to head out to the north/south end of concourse D, which are both adjacent to busy taxiways and where seating is available. I have also found the escalator area in the center of concourse T to be a very good vantage point. You would have to stand there, though. In general, terminal E (and partly D as well) are frequented by the most diversified traffic of the airport. You can basically settle down at any gate and enjoy the view of the tarmac.
