I've just installed the Just Flight add on 737 Pilot in Command in FSX and it doesn't work properly.

I can open FSX, select a/c and it will load and I can see the a/c I selected from the outside, and I can apply power and take off and fly it from an external view.

When I got to the cockpit view however, even though the panels are all there, nothing works. I hover the mouse over the buttons and switches but non work. All the EFIS screens are blank too.

I had some issues with the installation as it kept telling me my copy of FSX was not up to date, yet even after running the update that came on the DVD/CD, it still said the same so I had to select the options to install anyway.

Any suggestions? Would I be better off just re-installing my old copy of FS2004 and running it through that instead?

Make sure you have SP2 for FSX installed, or Acceleration if you have it.

As said above the first thing that came to my mind was make sure you have SP2 and/or Acceleration for FSX. If you do and you still have a problem with the plane make sure you have the FSX version of course. I had the FS9 version of that airplane but for $5 there was a FSX update and it works pretty well besides for taking a bit more FPS than it should.
Also when you get it to work you will need to download a small free update, I am pretty sure it is on Just Flights website for the VC of that plane because when it rains in FSX the VC windows become grey. The update fixes that problem.

Good luck.
