I'm at my home airport of IND. Thinking of maybe either doing some practice runs for a Super Bowl flyover (F-14) or running a few charter flights in the PC-12.

I've been flying from Moscow (DME) to Kazan and return (KZN) today on Level D-767. It's an A319 in real life but S7 have 767 equipment so I'm using FSX poetic license
Have a full S7 itineary planned out for this week...will be fun

Done properly - flying the Tu-154M
Fly with PT!

Just preparing for the next flight from LAX to ANC. There I'll start my eastbound Round-the-World tour as CPA 3272 on B744F. That should keep me busy for the coming weeks

Quoting Fabo (Reply 7): Come on now, each and every of the NK-8-2Us produces over 23Klbs of thrust, more than your typical CFM56-5A4 on that A319...
Ok, ok..I'll give you that one!
Quoting Fabo (Reply 7): currently enroute on IVAO as MAH745 HEL-BUD in honor of Malev Hungarian Airlines
I was watching this flight yesterday on FlightRadar24 as it tracked south to Budapest. In the evening, caught the exact same a/c (I forget the reg) as it crossed the Irish Sea. Such a pity for Malev and Hungary.
I just finished a 6hr 30min trip from FRA to KJA on LH Cargo MD11....it's frickin' cold here!

I'm in my PMDG 747-400X doing a quick flight from YMML-YSSY. Right now I'm descending through FL230 passing overhead TARAL. Next I'll probably take my brand new ATR72 from Flight1 to YSTW and YBBN. I'll post a few pics from my recent flights shortly.

Currently flying ORD-IAD with a UA B772. Due to a slight oversight, I am at FL300 at about 13 miles out from IAD. I got sidetracked and forgot about the sim. I'll have to circle a lot as I descend, but I'll get there eventually.

I recently bought a PMDG Boeing 737NGX (worth every cent) and have been putting it to good use:
Auckland-Whenuapai-Auckland a few times in an Air New Zealand -800WL .
Auckland-Wellington in the default PMDG livery -900WL.
Christchurch-Queenstown in an Alliance Airlines -800WL.
A few flights around Rio De Janeiro in the GOL10 years livery (PR-GTF) -800WL.
Helsinki-St Petersburg in a NordStar -800WL.
Prior to all this, I began a flight in a Hong Kong Airlines 747-8i (Skyspirit 2011) from LAX-HKG. The flight was going very well until I needed to go to work. I left the flight with the autopilot activated and the aircraft at FL380 somewhere south of Alaska. When I returned home after work the aircraft had crashed somewhere between Nagoya and Osaka. OOPs
Next flight: St Petersburg-Arkhangelsk in the NordStar 737...
Airbus A340: 4 Engines 4 Long Haul...... (and they don't have 10 seats across in economy)

LED is my next destination. Currently I am in KEF. I just finished installing all traffic that operates into LED and need to install my LED scenery and then I can complete the flight.

I'm rather new, both to A.net and the FS world. But I usually do rather short flights. Typically EHAM-EGLL or KLAX-KLAS. Flights that can easily be done in about an hour. What's the charm of doing transatlantics? I mean, it can't be that interesting to watch the autopilot search for the optimal thrust setting while cruising over the atlantic? Or am I just being weird here?
On topic: I'm on my second approach attempt on a very foggy day in EGLL, coming from EHAM in a KLM 737-800. I was told by ATC to go around on first attempt as a BA 772ER got a liiittle too close on short final

Well, I used to fly short legs all the time too. Lately I really enjoy flying the long runs. Of course you don't sit in front of your virtual cockpit for 8 straight hours, that would indeed be very boring and lame. I take off, climb and a little into the cruise, I leave my computer and do other stuff. Inbetween I check if everything is alright, do the occasional step climb or look outside the window if I'm just overflying something interesting.
The "charm" of that is that you land in a different region of the world and really feel like you have flown there, because 8 hours have passed since you took off and you could have flown that onboard a real plane in the same time as well. I personally don't like using timelapse, it just feels weird if you land in IAD 1 hour after you took off in LHR...
AMS-LHR sounds cool.
Tomorrow I'm flying from ANC to KIX in my FedEX MD-11F...that's some 8hrs again.
25 Harmonium: Yeah, I can kinda relate to that one. I did one flight from KLAX to KLAS in the early morning. Climbed out of KLAX over the ocean with the rising sun
26 817Dreamliiner: about to do the return VS1898 SXM-MAN, hope I can make it out of SXM, im sure I can but not really sure, pics from my previous flight in the screensho
27 9MMPQ: Doing KUL-HKG & climbing to FL340 as MH73, a B772. Looks like i'm catching a nice tailwind so might arrive a bit earlier.
