I'm sorry if this post is not in the correct forum or not allowed. I am looking for someone who has access to the A380 flight deck to take about 20-30 detailed pictures. This is for a flight simulator project that I am working on. If you or someone you know can do this, I will gladly compensate you for your efforts. We can work out all of details if anyone is interested.

Have you tried looking in the database here? Im sure theirs lots here. Using the search engine on the homepage select A380 in the aircraft field and then choose flight deck in the categories field, that should help.

Sorry I should have clarified, yes it's for a payware add on. The photos will be used for texture application. I need them from one source so that the color/shading is consistent. They also need to be fairly large so that the clarity isn't reduced as much if I resize them. I have a specific list of the photos needed.

Hi shervsr20,
If you go on the Airbus website and click on the A380 under Aircarft Families, in the top right hand corner you will find a icon "3D View" where you can explore the A380 flight deck that gives you a 360 degree view from one position that you can also zoom in on. It was taken using a spherical lens giving a perspective as if you were there in person.
You could try and contact Airbus to see whether you can get a copy of the photo.

Thanks, I've haven't thought about contacting Airbus because honestly, I don't think they would even respond. I've seen the 3D flightdeck photos on the website and maybe I'll contact the person that took it. But I really hope to just find someone with access. I know it'll be tough

Quoting shervsr20 (Reply 5): Thanks, I've haven't thought about contacting Airbus because honestly, I don't think they would even respond.
It's also worth contacting airlines - a lot of payware addons have their VC's modeled from pictures that partner airlines allow them to take. I guess they'll charge a fee but there's no harm in throwing an email to all the airlines currently operating A380s.
Also, have you thought of contacting flight training schools or simulator producers (like CAE?) It would probably be easier to get into an A380 sim, and if you can't find a real a/c to get pictures from/get into then a level-d sim is the next best thing - all the textures, colours, placements etc will be the same - a lot of them see some fairly heavy use too, so you might even get some nice wear & tear effects in there, which is always nice to see in an addon (although seeing as the 380 fleet is still young I doubt you'd get much, even in the real a/c).

Thanks for the info. I will try to contact a flight school to see if they can grant me access. I've been slacking on this project but now it's time to get rolling again.
