I've done some searches and couldn't find much.

When I was in Japan, I saw some really interesting models of the 787 that were for sale. But because I couldn't bring them back in my jam-packed luggage, I did not want to buy any of them.

In the states, however, I'm having issues finding anything decent for a good price.

I'm not looking for anything expensive, or complicated. Just something about palm-sized or a little larger that's a snap-fit put-together thing (I'm no model expert as you can clearly see, I just like collecting the easy ones and looking at them)

Thanks, Z

Have you tried Ebay? Lots of Gemini Jets 1:400 scale die cast models for sale...quite a few 787's.

Here's a good site to get lost in: http://www.airlinemuseum.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=34_41_1478

I'd recommend Herpa's 1:500 scale if you're trying to stay small and not too pricey while retaining a decent amount of detail. The 787 in this scale is about 11x11 cm.

I looked at their selection and, while i'm impressed, I haven't found what I'm looking for. I'm looking for NH models

I used airlinemuseum.com before. I bought 3 models from them. I am still waiting for a UA738 or a 739 by Gemini Jets in 1:200.

The official Boeing ones are very nice, I bought one on the factory tour but you can also buy online:
