I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread to keep up with the latest releases of payware items for FS. Quality Wings BAe was recently released and I have only heard good things about it, looking at making that purchase soon. http://qwsim.com/index.php/home

This kind of thread usually pops up relating a specific high profile release... but it might be handy to have a consolidated one.
For the X-Plane crowd, the big news recently was release of the 777, I have heard good things about it.
IXEG 737 are slowly but steadily continuing development.
Regarding your post, I am very much looking forward to Majestic Dash and the PMDG 747 (although I willbe getting 777 in most probability, since it will be the first to arrive). Coolsky DC-9 looks cool.
In other areas (not airliners), A2A has had a nice August update, where they announced a C-172 and PA-28 add-ons, (very much looking forward), and F-104 and F-4 (also looking forward) and some other stuff (WW I Albatros, lite version of P-51H, modernised version of P-51D - one heck of an IFR capable cross country plane).
As for scenery, that is hard to tell... Depends a lot where you fly.
Aerosoft seems to release a scenery every couple days, for example. But I dont care for, say, Mykonos Island much. Orbx has now done both New Zealand islands, and is still churning out NA airports, and getting NorCal and Southern Rockies ready. Some England regions to be released next year.

Weren't they doing a DC-6 as well? Additionally there will be some more PMDG 737NGX variants being released sometime in the future. BBJ, -900ER and AEW&C, I believe.

All true from what I know. I have no heard much about the DC-6 I think they are really focusing on the 777X right now.
Looks like the Coolsky DC-9 has been a big buggy from reading other forums. Once a patch comes out to fix some problems it should be a real winner though.
Also Majestic has been releasing more pictures on their facebook pag and it looks awesome!
