Hey all.
The previous thread was getting long on the tooth, so here´s a spanking new one just in time to warm us up like a cozy jumper during this winterishy times (excepts our pals in the southern hemisphere who are enjoying summer)
Anyways, I will kickstart this with some whaleshots.
EK50 Munich to Dubai.
Sceneries by Aerosoft (EDDM)
Flytampa (OMDB)
Project Airbus A380
Sadly I did not take any screenshots of the inbound flight, and I should have, because the approach into MUC was a total joy, visibility down to like 1 mile gray all around and some rain thrown in for good measure.
Being readied for the 5:50 flight down to homebase.
Higher up view, dwarfing that poor little Embraer Jet.
Tail Cam shot.
Flight was uneventful and after 5 hours and a bit, we are well on descent, here we are approaching Dubai City, Burj Khalifa clearly visible.
I cannot stress how amazing Flytampa´s DXB is, they have outdone themselves with this gem.

Took advantage of my day off to do some flying, up to an area that I have not been to all that much, Alaska.
SEA-ANC
Posky B739
SEA scenery is Fly Tampa
ANC scenery is a recently released freeware package
Holding short at active
Descending into ANC with some low level clouds
About to touch down with the cargo ramp in the background and a rare visitor, an AN124
Even more BR cargo haulers on the ANC ramp...a home away from home it seems
At the gate
While looking at Flightaware's history of ANC, I noticed I had a lot of missing carriers. I am installing them now for my outbound flight. Not sure where I want to fly next, but it will be a carrier who operates at ANC.

Was home sick today, so I made my next flight, flew ANC-PKC on a R3 B738. In reality they fly this with a B737 and is only seasonal, and the flight is not in season now.
Looking through the blast fence at ANC, holding short at 16L while a Polar Air Cargo B748 operating for DHL arrives.

Quoting MIAspotter (Reply 12): Interesting route with an interesting airline.
Thanks. Since I was in Alaska, I thought I would make the hop on over to Russia and since this route is a real seasonal based flight, I thought I would do it. I love the scenery of the Far East of Russia. I was almost tempted to fly down to my sister-in-law's home town of KHV but decided not. I am now doing the return flight to ANC, about 200 miles left to go. Maybe some other time I'll make the flight to KHV in an ultra not realistic fantasy non-stop flight from the States.
Nice A380 shots, I wish I could get ground shots as crisp and clear as you have in your third image. I am still on FS9, not FSX (it is installed, but I love my ai aircraft and plans and they are all in FS9) and am thinking of getting Ultimate Terrain soon....1.6GB download.

This screenshot is a little different:
Today, at 0216Z (0916 local - FS time), an Airbus A320, operated by Seagle air, impacted mountainous terrain west of Innsbruck. The condition of the 155 passengers and 6 crew on board is unclear. DFDR was located and found undamaged. The trajectory flown:
SJ_INN_crash.jpg" border="0"/>
Crew was attempting to fly the RNP approach to runway 26, but found a problem with airplanes descent rate. They decided to go around and follow the published procedure, and passed above INN airport at abut 4800ft. Reason of crash is not known as of now, probable crew error.
The light at the end of tunnel turn out to be a lighted sing saying NO EXIT
I'm so torn about that...it looks great, but I have so many repaints for the AI Aardvark 737NG that it would take ages to get everything transferred over...fortunately my AI 737 Classic fleet was considerably smaller!
And man...I've been away a long time! Here are a couple shots from the meantime:

The new models are so nice. And if you are a FSX user, there are FSX specific models that utilize larger paint kits, allowing painters to add in more details. I am still on FS9, but am slowly moving to FSX because of these FSX specific models. I have a massive AIA B737 install also, but am slowly moving them over as I install new plans.

Nice shot, my next flight will be with a Project Airbus A319, once I find a suitable panel. Ever since I bought my 23" wide screen monitor, the panel I used to use on my old 20" monitor no longer works, the view is all jacked up and is looking down on the runway. Kind of hard to fly like that. I need to find a panel soon, last night I completed my "positioning" flight to setup my next flight with the A319.

With the weather turning very cold (a few days this week we were in the single digits) and our first inch of snow in over 355 days, I decided to leave the Chicago area for somewhere warm. My last flight left me in RFD and that gave me an opportunity to fly down to CUN on F9. F9 operates a charter to CUN our of RFD as well as scheduled service to DEN. This shot here I am arriving into warm, but overcast CUN.

With an ice storm about to hit the Chicago area, I decided not to fly home today. Instead I took a short hop from CUN to HAV with a CU Yak-42D. These are all arrival pictures into HAV. The Yak-42D is the CIS Traffic Team AI model that has been modified with the Vistaliners B727 fde files to make it flyable, also threw in a B727 panel (since I cannot read Russian and didn't install a YK42 panel) and I also added in Yak-42 engine sounds.

Welcome to the FS world of screenshots. As zkojq mentioned, framing is good, unless you really want to show the background as well. Also you might want to look into adjusting your video settings if you computer can handle it so that the images are crisper, clearer and better looking.
Here are some shots from a flight last night from YYZ-ORD with an AC E175 (freeware Dreamwings E170 model pretending to be an E175). YYZ is a freeware scenery from the usual sources and the ORD is the payware FSDreamteam scenery.

I wasn't thinking about the snow, but it can fall when it is sunny. Yeah the 5X at the international terminal is one of them and the other one was the MQ Jungle Jets crossing the runway that I took off from. one was holding short in the middle of the runway.

One of the hazards of realistic AI flightplans is the occasional overlap...here's my G7 CRJ-700 lined up on LGA's runway 22 heading to DCA, just a few minutes behind Shuttle America ERJ-170 on the same route.
But not to be outdone by the new kid, N542DA cleans up on takeoff from SAV as DL578 to Atlanta.
Nice shots there. N513AE is the CRJ taht flew me from ORD to OKC in June 2011 as AA3818! Nice to see it in the FS world.
I might be adding some old shots of mine soon, but unfortunately my FS crashed and I'm too lazy to install proper AI traffic... Might try to add some custom AI airlines this weekend though.

A few from a recent flight between MSY-JFK with B6. MSY is default FS9 airport and JFK is a freeware scenery. Aircraft is freeware the Project Airbus A320. Previously my longest flight was SAN-HNL, but now I have a new long distance record holder flight, JFK-SCL with LA operating a B767-300 from SkySpirit. Both airports are various freeware renditions.
Getting a push back. Departure (9pm local time) is during the time the blizzard was hitting the New England states.
Seeing an EK A380 is becoming more common now at major airports.
I should've checked the weight and fuel, I used almost all of the runway.
After flying all night, somewhere over South America the sun rises.
Arrival into SCL the next morning.
The AFCAD needs a bit of work, unless AF is boarding from the middle of the planes and the jetways have slots for the wings to fit into.
The B787-8 might be grounded in real life now, but not in my FS9 world.

I really, really hate the new Photobucket site, it is much harder to use now! My uploads are not being saved in alphabetical order.
Here are some shots I took from SCL-LPB with a Project Opensky Embraer Legacy. This was not my original flight plan, I wanted to fly SCL-MIA with an 5Y B747-400F. My first attempt suffered a tail strike on departure and I had to circle back and land for repairs. My next attempt resulted in the plane freezing in mid-air with less than 200 miles to go...the game didn't freeze, just the plane. My third and final attempt resulted in FS9 crashing to desktop as I was on short final at MIA. So I finally said 'eff it, and I ended up with this flight. Most of these shots are of various AI aircraft I spotted along the way.
Departing SCL behind a LA A320 in the distance that took off before me. And some fugly 2D trees to the right.

Old FS2002 scenery with ugly static aircraft (and since this pic was taken, I've managed to remove some of them from the scenery)
My next flight will not be for a long time, this coming Saturday I am on a real AA flight flying ORD-RSW. Maybe my last AA MD-80 flight.
I've been grounded in New York for the last couple of weeks (Broken Joystick). However I'm now back in the air and to celebrate I decided to move continents to Europe.
There actually wasn't a decent Landor repaint for the Level D 767. The only one I could find had Pratt & Whitney engines! So I had to do a homejob on it.

As you may have guessed, I'm very proud. Many thanks has to be given to some folks at ARNZX who pointed me in the right direction when I got stuck. Comparatively, I have posted a photo of the Armenian Government's A319....anyway, thats enough bragging for now.
Since the above screenshots I've done quite a bit of tweaking - main changes include borrowing some engine textures from a Virgin Atlantic A340-600 and fixing the stripe (much harder than one might think). Anyway, the result is featured in this flight from NCE to KEF.
