I've been eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Delta Air Lines McDonnell Douglas DC-10-10 diecast model by Aviation200 since May 2013, when it was due to be released.
I know that there's been some delays in producing these models, but no explanation from various hobby sources and distributors as to why, only various guesses or assumptions. Does anyone here in this forum have any insight?
This particular item was to be a gift for a birthday in early June, but that opportunity has passed. In your experience, should I expect to be waiting for yet another month or so or shall I just ask for a refund on my preorder?

I have worked for the major distributor. No need to panic. The model will be available by the end of July as per my
understanding. Many times the models for AV200, BBOX, Inflight will be several months between announcement and actual availability.
