Hi Forum members,

Does anyone know any companies who will be fabricating the 787-900 model in Boeing house colours anytime soon? Looks like a collectors piece.

I visited the Boeing Store at KPAE last July & they didn't have an answer.

I emailed them at work today for an update. I'll let y'all know what they say

The only 787-9 models out there I know of are made by Phoenix, but they're 1:400 scale and no Boeing house livery yet. I have the Qantas version and it's pretty nice.

G'day fellow A.netters,
Last week I examined two 1/400 die cast 787-9 models in the Hobbyco store in Sydney. Both were Air New Zealand old colourscheme which was a bit weird...
One model had wings flexing upwards and the box noted that that model was the 787-9 'in flight mode'. The difference in appearance of the wings between the two models was quite obvious.
I am not sure how long the ANZ 787-9 has been available, nor can I remember the brand but I think it was Phoenix. It was the first time I have seen a 787-9 model and the first 787 model 'in flight mode'.
Keep smiling,

I just wanna live while I'm alive!
