Hey everyone!

Just wanted to know one thing . . .
How do you listen to ATC?
Do you have to buy a radio or something else?

Thanks for all the replies!

Yes you would most likely need to buy a scanner.

You need a scanner. Try to get it as fast as possible, it's great to listen to ATC (Air Traffic Control) Smile/happy/getting dizzy.

Radio Shack sells an assortment of scanners from about $80 to $250 depending on what you want to listen to and how many features you want.

I have a Pro-83 which allows me to listen to Air, Police, Fire, Marine, Military (some), Ham (some), Weather, and a few TV stations. I do not have an 800 MHz band. I have 200-channel program capability.

You must have the internet? Use realplayer, and live ATC broadcasted over the internet.

Be carefull though. In some (many?) countries scanners are prohibited (mainly because they can be used to listen in on police and emergency services).
