I will be in the Ontario/LA area in two weeks and would like to know some addresses of local hobby stores in the area. Id appreciate any locals giving me an address and phone number so that I may visit while I am plane fanning for two weeks.

As I said, the LA area is ok also, I will be in the LAX,VNY,SNA, ONT, CRQ area for my trip and MAY goto BUR. I will also be going back to SAN for a couple days. Any in those areas? (BOOKS and such)

WHY would you choose to stay in COLTON of all places? Have you ever been there? Colton is nothing but a collection of run down, old housing, truck yards, gas terminals (we have one out there, along with several other companies), industrial buildings, and warehouses.
There is also a nice little shop about a mile south of LAX on Sepulveda Blvd, across from the Hacienda Hotel in that little corner shopping center. It's a small store, but has a wide variety of items.
You might also want to check out El Dorado Toys and Hobbies in the Buena Park Mall, in Buena Park. They have a few Gemini Jets, Dragon Wings, and a wide assortment of Herpas and Schabaks.
And if you like Herpas, there is a store with a HUGE assortment of them, about 5 minutes south of Buena Park Mall on Beach Blvd. I don't remember the name of it, but it is in "Hobby City", and the first store on the right when you first drive in.

I thought you were gonna say blacks and mexicans also...
The reason I am staying in Colton is because thats where my wifes mom lives, she has a good job at CAL St. San Bernardino, (in the office) I had to put that in there so that you knew she wasnt on welfare... Oh yea, my wife is a black princess.
You may ask why I am getting into this, your comment kinda pointed that I was crazy for staying in a rundown area... Her apartment is quite nice and because I am white, wont get me killed in Colton...
Now, there are certain areas of LA that may...
Anyway, thanks for the info, it will help me out. Come on, Colton isnt that bad, just not a lot to do there of course.
