Will,
i was seriously thinking about going on it, but i just couldn't ge the cash together in time. :-(
I think the aircraft and route are:

SAA B747-400 "Polar Bird II"
New york
Rio Gallegos
Perth
Beijing
New york

On this route this 747-400 will fly over Antatica, the South Pole, and then over the North Pole.
The aim of this is to break the speed record to circumnavigate the globe, pole to pole.
The record is held currentley by a B747SP operating as Pan Am flight 50 which has held this record for 23 years since it flew from San Fransisco to San Fransisco via both poles in 54 hours 7 minutes and 12 seconds on October the 28th-30th 1977.

The SAA747-400 has an estimated flying time of 45 hours and 56 minutes. And a total time of 54 hours and 11 minutes.

The seat prices:
Premium Firt Class-Fully flat sleeper beds = £14,495 (6)
Premium Business Class = $9,495 (57)
Premium Economy Class = $7,495 (166)

*Numbers in ( ) indicate how many seat are available.

(Hope this is what you ment Will and not some other RTW flight!)
