how do you detail a cockpit on a 1/48 scale aircraft.you know make it real looking.

Usually with paint, first paint the whole panel and then make all the buttons and stuff the correct color.

What I do is paint the the parts that have fine details the color the majority of the panel is and then I have this stuff I rub onto the parts that only rubs off onto the highspots and highlights the details. I have a thing with a few colors, silver, gold, copper and blue, red, green metallics. Only one I ever really use is the silver and copper. Never really have found any use for the others. As for other parts, just get a nice fine brush and paint them by hand.
