3. 777 allows pilot to overight computer, 340/330 gives computer more control.

5. 777's wings are more rigid, while the 340/330 is more flexible.

The Asymmetric Thrust System is a system found on the B777. It's used when one engine fails on takeoff after V1. When activated, the computer (again its the computer) would then calculate the necessary reductions (or increaments) in power necessary to drive the airplane into the air, and perhaps keep it level.
Perhaps anyone with more technical knowledge about this could help?

I think it means that the gear hangs down so when it touches the gear moves in to place as the plane lands.

777s can't necessarily fly longer ranges than 340/330. The longes routes are operated with 772s but an 340 did Paris - Auckland which certainly was the longest airliner flight ever.

1. B777 has good looking but "not so comfortable" interiors (3-3-3 or 2-5-2 or 3-4-3 seating arragement for economy)
A330/340 has a 2-4-2 seating arrangement which is far more roomier and comfortable for the economy traveller.
2. B777 has a conventional yoke and the pilot is physically tired after a long trip.
A330/340 has a fly by wire system and side stick controllers which does not make the pilot so physically tired, but drains him mentally due to the computers onboard.
3. B777 has got a thin ugly tail.
A330/340 has got the most beautiful tail.
4. B777 has sold well over the A330/340
5. B777 is a powerful aircraft and muscular looking.
The A330/340 is a sleek and slender looking beauty.
Given my way i would call the 777 a handsome bloke and the A330/340 a ramp model.(female ofcourse)
