I am a newcommer to the 1:500 scale aircaft modeling field; does anybody know of any good dealers of 1:500 scale aircraft? I have not had much luck locating one in person (Austin, Texas) or on the internet.
Where do you get your Herpa models? Does anyone else make decent 1:500 scale A/C models?

The only recommendation I have is try the 1:400 scale models from Herpa, Dragon, or Gemini Jets. You will be much more impresseed with them. If you are collection 1:500 scale for space and storage reasons, I highly recommend that you go with Starjets. I believe they are much better than Herpa and you will be blown away with theeir details.

I get my herpa models at airplaneshop.com. They are very reliable and good on pricing. They are located in New Jersey. They sell every brand excpet for Dragon Wings. I personally like Gemini and Dragon Wings better but Herpa finally is making their landing gear more detailed.
