i love listening to bankstown tower on the net but i just want to listen to the local airport (jandakot airport) i need to by a handheld radio to hear ATC but have a very tight budget.
if i bought a cheep one would it be really crappy quality or would it only be a bit worse than good one. and help is greatly appreciated .
if u could give me a price (in australian dollars) of any cheep handheld radio, i would be so so so happy

I recently bought a Maycom AR-108 from pilotmall.com. I live in Canada and it took them about two weeks to deliver the radio. For the 90$ US sticker price, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the radio. I suggest you order one.
