Well, I've recorded and compiled my airline sounds on an RJ and have split up into 8 components, just like the FS2000's 737 sound file collection:
Eng1 , Eng2 (whine)
Eng 1, Eng2 (Rumble)
When I run FS2K, it seems to me that the sounds are too high pitched and/or too quiet and that I should modify the (copy of the 737's) "sound.cfg" that was placed in the RJ's folder. I cannot hardly decipher the "sound.cfg" contents with all the decimal numbers and the "flags, viewpoints" and stuff.
Do sound programmers of FS2K use a special program to churn out these "nonsense" (to me it is. ~_~). Is there anything to remember when dealing with long decimal placed numbers?
Are there any sound programmers who could help me?
TIP: go see the "sound.cfg" file in the 's folder to see what I mean about "decimal placed numbers"
Any help would be deeply appreciated!
