Just buy Winzip, it's cheap and well worth the money.
I've bought it 5 years ago and use it almost daily, now isn't that good value for money for the $30 or so they ask for it?

I've been using winzip trial for a year now without paying for it. It still works and I haven't received a bill or e-mail or anything.

Perhaps yours was 8.5 Beta??
