Best Scenery In FS2K2

Hi everyone,

Where do you think in FS2K2 has scenery that are beautiful? For example, beautiful approaches into airports, some very good scenery of mountains that are worth a flight there or around to enjoy some beautiful scenery? Which areas are beautiful? I have been flying longhauls on my B747 and I want a change... some sightseeing now. Smile

Definately LAS at night.LAX is very cool at night love seeing the theme building lit up.ORD at night is cool,too-you can even read HILTON on the hotel.

Maiquettia (SVMI) 09 approach. Fly along the Venezuelan coast, towering cliffs on your right.
Juneau, Alaska. Great area for VFR flights, as well as a tricky approach for the heavies.
Innsbruck, Samedan, most of the Alps really.
Anything in the (Venezuelan) Andes 2002 scenery package.
Puerto Rico and San Juan islands are incredible (especially with replacement mesh).
Small airfield called '5S5'.Very nice scenery near there (though the field itself is just a dirt strip in the middle of nowhere).
Grand Canyon International.

ORD-Good

JFK-Crap!

LHR-Great! Smile

HKG-Okay (Default, now I have Thomas Kwong's)

CDG-Crap (Default, now I have add-on)

SIN-Not Good

The only thing good about JFK is that there are tons of heavy gates. It is the only airport where all my add-on 747 traffic appears. CDG and HKG are now great, except that CDG has painted static aircraft while HKG has just all white. LAX is fantastic. Big thumbs up

My scenery in FS2K2 is CRAP. I get buildings not found errors and my scenery doesn't turn up at major airports like LAX,LHR,HKG, SFO and even Meigs Field!

If you go to Ecudaor, ESSM i think it is...theres lovely scenery. you start off in a volcano (I think) and the standard climb isint enough to get out!!! You have to circle and climb to get out or else take a chopper (you wont do it in anything bigger than a lear) then cruise along the river - Nice

Mount Cook in New Zealand!

Take off from Christchurch and head to Mount Cook simply stunning, the airport is just a landing strip but the view is fantastic!!! try it!
