I don't have it, but I did try some of their other offerings.
Verdict on those:
- extremely detailed when up close
- good performance
- visible distance of items set way too short, good while taxiing around but on approach or departure most of the things like aircraft, jetways, and other statics are invisible.
The last ruins it for me, as I like to do trips in a Cessna and just fly around a nice airport looking at it. The items will load but slowly and sometimes it stutters while doing so (P4-1.6 with 1024MB RAM).
They may have changed that and I might try KLAX, but you'll have to see for yourself whether it is acceptable on your PC.

Because even the default 'detailed scenery' is nowhere near as good looking as many of the 3rd party addons.
Just an example: look underneath your aircraft when parked at a gate. Where is the concrete, where are the lines? They're not there. No taxiway signs, etc.

Personally I don't mind some performance hit as long as it is not too severe.
Simflyers scenery is overdoing it for me though.
