I have recently purchased the new PSS A320 add on for FS2002 but I am finding it hard to program a flight into the MCDU. Does anyone know how I can plan a simple, direct flight into the GPS like with the FS2002 aircraft and get it to show on the main screen.

it's all in the manual, part 5, from around page 40
Small flight, KLAX-KSFO in an A319:
Load the aircraft and position at KLAX 07R, and unload all fuel from the center tank.
No real weather loaded for this flight.
Italics are what you type, bold are buttons to push. KLAX/KSFORSK1 PSS001LSK3 (flight number, can be anything) NEXT PAGE 56.8LSK1 15LSK2 (enter amount of fuel on board). PROG 250LSK1 (set a lower cruise altitude as the default is too high for this short hop). F-PLAN LSK1 (this enters the departure page) LSK1
Use the up and down scroll keys to select runway 07R and press the LSK next to it. Then select a SID (DP) and transition point if you want.
Select *INSERT (RSK6) to add to the plan. LSK6 (this enters the arrival page) RSK1
Use the up and down scroll keys to select runway 10L (or 10C, take the longest of the 10 runways) and press the LSK next to it. Then select a SID (DP) and transition point if you want.
Select *INSERT (RSK6) to add to the plan. PERF LSK1 LSK2 LSK3 35RSK4 (select a lower FLEX TO TEMP for somewhat higher thrust rating. The default is nice but you get a shorter takeoff run this way). F-PLAN scroll through the plan. Remove any discontinuities by pressing CLR and then the LSK next to the discontinuity. DATAKLAXKSFOLSK1 LSK2 to save the flightplan.
When in the air: PERF click RSK6 until you get the APPR page. 1013LSK1 15LSK2 0/0LSK3 430RSK2 F-PLAN to go back to the flightplan proper.
That's the basics of entering a flightplan plus approach info for the autopilot.
For more understanding you should really fly the tutorial a few times and read part 5 of the manual thoroughly.
I have omitted everything you need to do except the MCDU itself here... You also need to configure the aircraft at the proper times and settings.
