Problem With Bill Grabowski's ERJ Panel

I haven't flown with this panel for some time, but when I wanted to try it today, all screens on thr panel were blank. A message saying "FS 2002 was unable to load some 3rd party software" and that it would be disabled came up. The file with the problem was erj.gau, so that's why everything is blank. This message came up many times perhaps 10-15, again and again and again, before the plane was loaded.
I had some problems with the panel last time i flew, but nothing that i noticed, it was only the message coming up. So it has worked for me before, but suddenly it doesn't.
Has anyone had the same problem and know how to fix it? I've even tried to download it again and replace the erj.gau file.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I've had that problem too, after the first time I used it. I decided to delete it and the ERJs, and now I don't get the GPS on any of my aircraft. I don't know what the solution is.

no problems here.
Check the panel documentation and install the FS2002 update if you don't have it yet.

U need the patch fro FS2002. You can find it from AVSIM library

You can ask your question to Bill directly in this forum
http://www.fsnordic.net/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=erj

Before you place any questions, u better search the forum past question to see if there is any similar question that you are asking.

This happened to me initially also. You can re-load the gps from disc 1, and it will work with the panel.

Bernard, I've tried to find it on disc 1. Do you have the file name? Can I reload it with out doing an uninstall then re-install?

Thanks

I'm running FS2000. I had problems with the ERJ panel too. So, rather than mess everything up, I figured that the default Learjet panel was close enough, so I just use that for my ERJs (All six of them).

I downloaded the update from http://www.fsnordic.net, but it didn't work, so I overwrote all files and now I'm up and runnig again  Smile/happy/getting dizzy.

Olympic A-340:
There is a new version of the sound.dll-file with the update on fsnordic.net

Cheers

The gps is in the guages folder on the disc and I believe is titled gps.gau. Copy the gps.gau from the disc folder and paste it in the gauge folder of FS. Should work, good luck.
